Virtual Symposium with AWS

ATG is Excited to Participate in a Virtual Symposium with AWS

You’re invited to C3 SummIT’s annual event!

This two-part event exclusively for IT leaders will kick off with an interactive discussion on Wednesday, September 13th where this year’s sponsors, AWS (Amazon Web Services), TD SYNNEX and Aligned Technology Group, will engage our group on topics including generative AI and cloud security. Please register for that event on this page.

On Friday, September 22nd we will get together in person for our annual fishing charter out of Annapolis, Maryland. IT leaders will enjoy a relaxing day on the water with their peers followed by lunch at a nearby restaurant. All skill levels welcome!

Please note that we’re asking anyone who attends the charter to also attend the virtual event. Attendees must be senior IT leaders at non-technology companies.

OUR PRESENTATIONS

Migrations to Cloud – John Zemonek – Managing Director

Generative AI – Phil Sautter – VP of Cloud Engineering

Cost Optimization

Issue: Small AWS deployment with little management oversight and a lack of cloud skills internal to the organization moving from traditional infrastructure to SaaS and cloud based solutions.

What we did

  1. AWS Audit
  2. Cost Optimization Review
  3. Ongoing Monitoring

Result:

  • Eliminated unused storage volumes and the old application server no longer in use, the charges for AWS resulted in a savings of 51% per month.
  • We’ll continue to monitor AWS billing and finance to ensure maintenance of savings and identify other future changes.
